INTRODUCTION
GreenMinds is GROW-GREEN’s main school-based programme that brings engaging climate education directly to Senior High Schools across Ghana. The programme goes beyond basic classroom learning by helping students understand climate change, think critically about environmental issues, and build the confidence to speak up and take action in their homes, schools, and communities.
The programme will take place in June 2026, aligning with World Environment Day (5 June) and World Oceans Day (8 June). GreenMinds serves as an introduction to GROW-GREEN’s mission and activities.
Working in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES), trained volunteer facilitators will visit selected schools to deliver interactive sessions that turn climate knowledge into real-life action. 🌍
